Pickleball

Pickle-Ball is a very interesting sport for most. Pickle-ball is easier to learn than tennis and in pickle-ball you have less ground to cover (you can fit 4 pickle-ball courts in one tennis court. Pickleball was invented in 1965 by three fathers from Bainbridge Island, Washington to entertain their kids. The kids ended up enjoying it very much.

Despite the name, pickleball has nothing to do with actual pickles. Pickleball is almost equally as popular among men and women, with 53% of players being male and 47% being female. The sport’s popularity across the world led to the creation of the International Federation of Pickleball, helping to regulate the sport in countries like the US, Canada, France, Great Britain and Spain. More than 3 million players play pickleball in the United States and that number has been growing by more than 10 percent each year over the past decade.
