The first team to play was the 7B girls. During the first half the score was 36-0 Lions. There were great layups and fast breaks. The second half was tiring. Pilot Point had scored 2 points in the first few minutes but our lions played good defense against Pilot Point. The game ended with Ponder 42 points ahead. The final score was 52-10.

7A was next to play. The ladies played well and had good ball movement. Sometimes the ladies weren’t looking for the right girl to pass to and sometimes making the wrong pass. Kate Simmons played well and had extra speed. Campbell Cooper and Skyler Kysiak also played very well. The girls record is 8-2. Some highlights were Skyler being able to get open on the block to where her teammates could find her and score. Their team has a lot of potential if they keep working hard and stick together.
