On April the 22nd our Symphony band went to Plano for a music festival. The music pieces they played were Darklands March and Our Kingsland Spring. The symphonic band worked hard at every detail to make both of the pieces sound great. Once both of the pieces were finished we had to sit and wait for the judges to finish the score. After some jokes and drum roles we found out we got a 1! A 1 is the highest rating you can get and the best rating ever. After we took our picture with the trophy, put our instruments up, and got our passes to get in and play games we went in to eat. After eating we wandered around the place. There were bumper cars, a rock wall, a sky course, and bowling. There were also arcade games there too. After riding the bumper cars for a while and bowling I heard that there were big milkshakes. An hour before we had to leave we got both band directors to go on the bumper cars, go bowling, and play arcade games with us. Next school year I hope y’all would like to join the band, so you can help us get another trophy and have fun.
