In 8th grade you can take advanced language arts, algebra 1. Or you can take non- advanced classes. If you struggle with math or reading you can take ACE reading/math.   As other electives you can take regular band ,choir ,or art as you can in any grade. But they are also adding in some classes that our only in 8th grade.  People used to be able to Spanish but now instead you can take Three other High school  credit classes. Spanish is one HS credit classes but we traded Spanish for three more HS credit classes that only 8th graders can take. They are Principles of Health Science, Principles of Arts/Audio video Production and communications, and lastly Principles of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources.  You can pick either Athletics or P.E in 7th/8th grade as well.
