Ducks

Ducks are waterbirds with a broad blunt bill, short legs, webbed feet, and a waddling gait. They are a pure white thin-shelled bivalve mollusk found off the Atlantic coasts of America. Ducks are animals who live in water but can also get on land whenever. They were domesticated 4000 BC by Egyptians, Chinese and Europeans. Muscovy Ducks or sometimes called Barbary Ducks or Turkey Ducks do not make the quacking sound of the Mallard, except when chased or caught.

Ducks are found in wetlands, marshes, ponds, rivers, lakes and oceans. This is because ducks love the water. Some species of ducks migrate or travel longs distances every year to breed. Ducks usually travel to warmer areas or where the water does not freeze so that they can rest and raise their young.
