Harry is an orphan living in a cupboard on Little Whinging number 4 privet drive. He lives with his Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, and his cousin Dudley Dursley. When Harry turned 11 he got to see another world. A Hogwarts gamekeeper named Hagrid who was a crossbreed of a giantess and a human. Hagrid told Harry about his parents and that he was a wizard. Apparently his parents James and Lily Potter were some of the best wizards in the wizarding world. A dark, powerful wizard named Tom Riddle wants to strike fear into people’s eyes, Lord Voldemort. Lord Voldemort used an unforgivable curse and murdered Harrys parents. After talking about what Harry would do in the wizarding world he decided to come. The passage leads to Diagon Alley. Once Harry got to KingsCross Station he had to find platform 9 ¾. Once Harry found platforms 9 and 10, he asked an engineer where to find platform 9 ¾. The engineer thought Harry was crazy and said there was no platform 9 ¾. Harry stood perplexed in the station until he saw a  family of redheads run to where he was standing. The mother of the group was leading two boys to the brick wall and all of a sudden they vanished. Harry thought it would be a good idea to ask the mother of the group how to get to hogwarts. Once Harry got on the train he met Ron Weasly and Hermonie Granger. Once at Hogwarts he, Hermione, and Ron got sorted into houses. They are Griffindor, Huffelpuff, Ravenclaw, and Sliztherin. The three of them got sorted into Gryffindor. On their first flying lesson professor Mongonall had Harry become the seeker. Later Harry wins the quidditch game. On Harry’s first Christmas he receives the invisibility his father had. A few weeks later Harry finds out that a teacher is trying to steal the sorcerer’s stone. Once Harry gathered Ron and Hermonie they set out for the forbidden corridor. The first barrier was a giant three-headed dog named fluffy. The second barrier was called The Devil’s Snare. It is all weeds that are enchanted to try to strangle you if you panic. If you relax you fall to the floor but Ron didn’t relax and Hermonie had to use a spell to help him. The third course was finding the correct key.Harry got on the broomstick and caught the key to open the door.The fourth course was wizards chess. Ron said he would sacrifice himself to let the others go on. The Last course was potions. Some would let you pass, some would take you back to the last course, and some would poison you. Harry took the one that lets you pass and Hermonie took the one that takes you back a course. When Harry got past the door the traitor was waiting for him. He wanted Harry to give him the stone and kill him too. After Harry lied about the stone He who must not be named appeared on the back of the traitor’s head. When Harry found out how to defend himself from the traitor he attacked. Harry had got rid of you know who for the second time.
