The school will stay wearing masks for a little while longer. The Texas Education Agency has said that all school districts are to continue following all previously established masking and social distancing protocols. But this could change if the board takes formal action and chooses to adapt to local changes. That although has not happened so, Ponder ISD will be following all previous protocols. The Ponder ISD Board of Trustees meeting that happens each month will discuss this. That meeting will be on March 25th so, any changes/updates to these protocols will be happening after that date.
