The 7th grade and 8th grade A basketball team traveled to Boyd 2 Mondays ago and both only lost by a couple points. The 7th grade coach said their team did a good job at rotating defensively, and that the team was very aggressive. The 8th grade coach, Ellyn Avery, said that her team used good teamwork and worked hard all around. Some things the two teams need to work on are shooting, and transitioning from offense to defense more quickly.
