Since COVID-19 is still a big issue, we have to be safe while trick-or-treating. If you’re trick-or-treating, here’s some ways you can protect you and others.

  • Wear a mask with your costume if you’re dressing up and if you aren’t dressing up, still wear a mask. Y’all won’t be social distancing yourselves so you have to try your best to stay safe.
  • Stay inside and watch movies. There’s nothing more fun than staying inside, in the warmth, instead of outside getting candy. If you’re a family with younger kids, or siblings, then you could still have fun, and dress up as different people and let them answer the door.
  • The candy is dangerous. People put razors, needles, drugs, and they have even named drugs inside sour patch kids as “meth candy.” You’d be better off buying your own candy to make sure it’s safe.
  • If you’re still going out and trick-or-treating, make sure to check ALL of your child’s candy.
