Music: comfort for the mind

Music: comfort for the mind

Back in my old school, we had a teacher. I can’t remember her name, but she would always play classical music. I always wonder why but she would never tell me, what I do know is it always makes me and some classmates clam. It would improve our memory and reduce stress. I know this because I did a study and took polls from my old classmates. Later I did a little more studying and found out this is called the “Mozart Effect.” There is a catch to this though; when I did a little more research I found out that they took a few college students and had them listen to ANY genre of music they wanted. All of them benefited from this but they never listened to classical music. So, what does this mean? Well if you’re doing homework then maybe put some earbuds in and try different types of music. It may give you a little boost. Fun fact: when I was writing this article I was listening to some house music.
